Food In Tour Director of Golf
David Bell is an American born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised on St. Croix, USVI. He has a very long career in golf starting at age 10, later becoming a member of the Japan Professional Golf Association in 2002 upon completing his apprenticeship at World Wood Golf Club (Hourai East Hill). His mother was an English professor,activist, and author of more than 30 publications and books. His father is a retired carpenter and electrician.
As an instructor and player, he has taught and competed on four continents, visited more than 120 countries, and played on a number of professional tours globally for more than twenty years. His love of the game and teaching others about the game is unwavering, and is demonstrated in his attention to detail, promotion of junior golf, and willingness to give full attention to his guest’s and student’s golf development at anytime. David speaks English, Japanese and some Italian, is married, and has a gorgeous son, Gabriel.
David’s hobbies include: International Business Development, former martial-artist (20 years), cooking, fashion, jewelry, golf course design, poker, and travelling. In addition to Food in Tour, David is working on developing a clothing line and opening golf academies in Italy and Great Britain to continue promoting the game of golf.
